The game mechanics are simple and exciting: single monsters of different types appear alternately on the laboratory screen, under the ceiling. You control their movement: you can move each monster left or right to find the perfect spot and then drop it to the floor. The main goal is to strategically place creatures so that when they fall, two identical monsters will definitely touch each other. Upon successful contact, a merger occurs, and a completely new, more developed type of monster instantly appears on the playing field. Each successful combination like this earns you valuable bonus points in Monster Mania.
